FAIRsharing is on Summer holiday

It’s time for our team to disconnect: log out of Teams, Zoom, Zulip and emails and have a well deserved summer break! We couldn’t leave without first giving our usual big THANK-YOU to all our collaborators and friends. We’ll see you all in September!

In the Northern Hemisphere, summer has arrived, and around the world universities are growing silent as courses complete and students leave for a few weeks. At FAIRsharing, this is a period when most of our team are on annual leave.

If you are looking for summer reading material, we encourage you to browse our recent blog posts. There you will learn about increased collaboration with Data Stewardship Wizard, mappings and alignments to all kinds of interesting guidance, increased collaboration within our home here at Oxford, details of how our Champions have been curating entire registries worth of content (policies AND databases!), and the conferences and meetings we have attended.

Our Team has worked tremendously hard the past few months, and is now taking a well-earned break this month. While we will be monitoring our site and responding to any urgent or high priority issues that might arise, standard queries and curation checks will take a little longer. We thank you for your understanding, and we’ll be back “with bells on” in September.

As usual, please send queries, requests and issues to us through our contact email address.
