FAIRsharing set to read-only ahead of new release in September

From July 14th until September, FAIRsharing is available for searching and browsing only. We have temporarily disabled edits so that we can move the content across to our brand-new FAIRsharing system and website! It will take a few weeks to ensure the data is correctly migrated, checked and further curated, so please be patient while this work progresses. We have redesigned both the front- and the back-end, and are really looking forward to showing you the improvements. Your old favourites, such as relationships between records and rich metadata, are still there but we’ve expanded and added to these features in a number of ways.

You can look forward to

  • Improved searching and record display.
  • An easy-to-use, clean edit interface.
  • A brand-new API.
  • Graphs of relationships across all record types (and not just collections),
  • Additional relationship types to further describe how your resource is linked to everyone else’s.
  • New and enhanced metadata fields.
  • Improved publication searching.
  • A host of other new functionality that we will roll out in the coming months such as our community curation initiative.

Please get in touch with us if you have any questions, we’d love to hear from you!
