It\u2019s time for our team to disconnect, log out of Teams, Zoom, Zulip and emails and have a well deserved winter holiday! The FAIRsharing Team will be back at work in early January. Our responses during the holiday period may be delayed, and all support will be on a best effort basis as our staff travel to visit friends and family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Keen to know what we’ve been up to? It’s been a year of attribution, with new Champions<\/a> coming on board, new factsheets<\/a> and additional attribution for our record maintainers via ORCID<\/a> and DataCite (we have added more metadata to each of our DataCite records). Our maintainers and Champions have been very busy, with over 5000 edits<\/a> between them! Collaborations, engagement and alignments with a number of organisations, tools and conferences have been regular features throughout the year, e.g. DSW<\/a>, the DCC \/ FAIR-IMPACT<\/a>, EOSC<\/a>, RDA (RDA22<\/a>, RDA23), AIBC<\/a>, UKRN<\/a>, and Argos<\/a>. Future work in our TIER2 and OSTrails grants in 2025 means that collaboration will continue to be an important theme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Curation from our staff and our Champions has focused on the database<\/a> and policy<\/a> registries, and we have shown you our new searching features that utilise these metadata to ‘demystify’ our database records<\/a> and show you how to access and analyse FAIRsharing information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Happy Holidays, Happy New Year and a big Thank You! to all our collaborators and friends. 2024 has been an action-packed year, and next year promises to be the same.
