{"id":668,"date":"2024-02-09T11:20:30","date_gmt":"2024-02-09T11:20:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.fairsharing.org\/?p=668"},"modified":"2024-02-09T11:28:44","modified_gmt":"2024-02-09T11:28:44","slug":"join-the-support-action-to-add-policy-content-to-fairsharing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.fairsharing.org\/?p=668","title":{"rendered":"Improving the availability and machine readability of data policies with FAIRsharing &#8211; A collaboration with FAIR-IMPACT"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Would you like to make the data policies within your infrastructure, organisation, country, region, and\/or domain more FAIR, and better enable FAIR?<\/em><br><br>Then please apply by 31 March: <a href=\"https:\/\/fair-impact.eu\/support-offer-4-improving-availability-and-machine-readability-data-policies-fairsharing\">FAIR-IMPACT EU Project<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;Support offer 4: Improving the availability and machine readability of data policies with FAIRsharing&#8221;<a href=\"https:\/\/fair-impact.eu\/support-offer-4-improving-availability-and-machine-readability-data-policies-fairsharing\">.<\/a><br><br>This activity is lead by <a href=\"https:\/\/fairsharing.org\/community_champions\">FAIRsharing Community Champion<\/a> and Digital Curation Centre Associate Director Joy Davidson and supported by the <a href=\"https:\/\/fairsharing.org\/\">FAIRsharing<\/a> team.<br><br>This support action will work with up to 10 individuals\/small teams to support them to coordinate the registration of data policies from stakeholders in their country\/region\/domain with the FAIRsharing registry and consider how we can leverage this shared pool of information for ongoing policy monitoring activities.<br><br>Successful applicants will receive\u00a04000 \u20ac\u00a0to support their participation which will require about 8 days of effort from participants between May-September 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During this support action, participants will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00a0coordinate the registration of data policies into\u00a0FAIRsharing\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>work collectively to consider how the registered policy data\u00a0may be leveraged for ongoing monitoring of the policy landscape<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants can expect to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>gain\u00a0a deeper insight into what components should be covered in FAIR-enabling data policies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>understand how the registration of data polices can support machine actionability and comparability\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>increase the availability of data policies within their country\/region\/domain<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"820\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.fairsharing.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Screenshot-from-2024-02-05-12-26-28-820x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-672\" style=\"width:610px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.fairsharing.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Screenshot-from-2024-02-05-12-26-28-820x1024.png 820w, https:\/\/blog.fairsharing.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Screenshot-from-2024-02-05-12-26-28-240x300.png 240w, https:\/\/blog.fairsharing.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Screenshot-from-2024-02-05-12-26-28-768x959.png 768w, https:\/\/blog.fairsharing.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Screenshot-from-2024-02-05-12-26-28.png 1057w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 820px) 100vw, 820px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Would you like to make the data policies within your infrastructure, organisation, country, region, and\/or domain more FAIR, and better enable FAIR?
